What is it?
The idea of creating the Merirasti Music Sharing Workshops emerged during a Story Sharing Café. Connected to the idea that music and songs tell stories, we began to envision a gathering in the neighborhood focused on that!

The Meri Rastila Music Sharing Workshops invites everyone who loves music and knows how to play an instrument and/or sing. During one weekend we will get together to share and learn songs from each other. These songs tell stories of our cultures, peoples, and places.
At the end of the workshops we will have a small repertoire with songs from different parts of the world, which will be presented together with the Story Sharing Café, an emblematic event of the Meri-Rastila neighborhood.
Who can participate?
Open to amateur and professional musicians, who are interested in learning music from different parts of the world and from each other.
